Extremely Fun.

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 10 October 2008 01:49 (A review of Unreal Championship)

I am not going to lie, I was not into this game for the longest time. I used to think it was even worse than Halo, which I hate. I was just never into the whole alien shooter genre, which is also what Halo is. My opinion completely changed When I played it a couple of months ago. I realized how fun it really was. Yes, it is sort of similar to Halo, but honestly, it reigns over it. I found myself having much more fun with this game.

I started to gain skills, and become very good at it, which obviously made the game more fun. I was especially into the game mode with bots added in. I set their skill to godly to test my skill, and I ended up killing them ten or so times.

Anyway, a great game that is 100% well worth a play.

Amazing Awhile Ago.

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 10 October 2008 01:37 (A review of Pokemon: Silver Version)

"Pokemon Silver" was an amazing game a year or two ago. Even though I could probably pick it up and enjoy it right now to this day, I just choose not too. The game has an awesome storyline and the adventure is endless. I was addicted to the whole series for years, including Blue version, Yellow, Silver, Gold, and Crystal. You just can't go wrong with Pokemon. The fun battles, gym leaders, free roam cities, 100's of Pokemon to catch, and just pure entertainment and enjoyment, makes this game a must buy. I have never tried the newest installments of "Pokemon", but maybe I will give them a whirl. This is one of the best Gameboy Games ever created.

Probably The Best Skateboarding Game Ever Made.

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 10 October 2008 12:51 (A review of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater)

This is the best skateboarding video game ever made. I know there are other games out right now that have way better graphics and what not, but this game is classic. It has great gameplay which never gets old, fun game modes, and superb multiplayer split screen. I love this game still to this day, and I don't think there will ever be a better skateboarding game.

Hilarious!

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 8 October 2008 02:23 (A review of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery)

Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery is a hilarious film and definitely a classic to be remembered for years and years. Mike Meyers could not have performed better. His hysterical facial gestures and dialogue are so fun to watch, and never get old. I still never knew how he got all the women lol, I guess he has a charm or something, but either way he is great.

The story is extremely goofy of course, but it is basically flawless. It is just pure silly entertainment for about 1 hr. and a half.

Dr. Evil is also one hysterical character, he has some crazy dialogue and gestures, for example the pinky to mouth thing, that is classic! His son (Seth Green) is a great addition as well, he never disappoints.

If you do not like Austin Powers, then I really do not know what to tell you.

A great basketball game.

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 8 October 2008 02:12 (A review of ESPN NBA Basketball)

Espn Nba basketball is a great game, unlike many of the other 2k basketball games. This one has a fresh feeling to it. One of the reasons it has that feeling, is this awesome new feature called 24/7 mode. this mode allows you to create a player and basically make him great by going through all the training and playing a bunch of games during the season. It is pretty fun.

The graphics are great for a game this old, I mean the players look real and realistic enough.

The gameplay is surprisingly great. Why is that surprising? because I am not a big fan of the whole 2k basketball series.

The season mode is super enjoyable too, which is mostly what makes this game so fun. I am currently in a season with the spurs. I have a whole team of excellent three point shooters, which is great.

The replay value for espn basketball is excellent. You can play this game for an awfully long time without getting bored with it.

I highly recommend making a purchase of this game.

A great game

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 5 October 2008 11:12 (A review of Fight Night Round 3)

"Fight Night Round 3" for the xbox 360 is basically just the same as the original xbox version. The gameplay barely changed, but the graphics are much better, and there were a couple new features added in.

I first started playing "Fight Night" about a year or two ago and was pleasantly surprised. The way the game is put together is great, and easily better than any other boxing game, even though there might only be one or two more other boxing games.

I honestly do not have much more to say about this game, other than the graphics and textures are top notch, and the gameplay is drastically fun, and can be played for hours at a time.

I highly recommend "Fight Night: Round 3"

Pretty good game.

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 5 October 2008 11:06 (A review of NBA 2K7)

Even though I prefer the Nba Live series, I was still able to enjoy "2k7". The graphics are pretty mediocre, but that is mainly because it was also released on the original Xbox, and it is from 2006/2007.

There is really not much of a difference in all of the 2k basketball games, which is kind of a bummer. I mean, the gameplay is basically the same, and the crowd sounds the same as well. It isn't a big part though.

I used to play 2k5 on a daily basis for the xbox, and that was honestly a blast, and tons of fun. I noticed a lot of great new additions from 2k7. For one thing, the players look more developed, more textured, and they almost shoot just like their real life counterpart.

I was never a fan of the controls in the 2k series. I never liked taking shots with the x button. I am used to the nba live way of pressing b. Other than the gameplay, I didn't mind 2k sports basketball games.

I will probably be renting or just playing 2k9 when it is released on October 7. I will most likely buy Nba live 2009 however.

My final word about "Nba 2k7". It is a pretty fun game, and well worth it until the newer basketball games are out.

An amazing world war II game

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 5 October 2008 03:56 (A review of Call of Duty 2)

"Call Of Duty 2" is an amazing game. It is very similar to Cod 4, which is also made by Infinity Ward; one of the best. When I was playing it, I was getting a lot of vibes from number four. The multiplayer is honestly where most of the fun's at. As far as the single player, it is pretty fun too. The online is basically the same from both games, with the exception of no sprint button and the graphics are obviously not as good. All I have to say is purchase all of the Call Of Duty games, especially 2 and 4. This is one of the most amazing games ever made.

Never been a fan.

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 4 October 2008 03:05 (A review of Resident Evil: Extinction)

I have personally never in my life been a fan of the whole Resident Evil thing. I always thought of it to be rather stupid, but that is just my opinion. I have never seen any of the previous films, nor have I even played any of the games, so I was watching the film as if it weren't related to any sequels or games, which is actually not the smartest thing I could have done. Usually when I watch sequels, I have seen the previous installments, which helps me like the film more, and give it more of a chance.

So, what did I think of "Resident Evil: Extinction"? well, I found it pretty entertaining for the most part, I mean, there were plenty of entertaining scenes, including several intense violent fighting/shooting moments, which was cool for awhile, then got very old. I was waiting for a good story to come along. I honestly cannot stand films that just have full on action all the way through, and absolutely no attempt at a story. That is my issue with a lot of films, including this one.

Bottomline, a good film if your are with friends and are just into pure action. A pretty mediocre film if you are watching it with a serious mind. I still recommend watching "Extinction"

I guess it just isn't my type of film

Posted : 15 years, 7 months ago on 2 October 2008 02:02 (A review of Rosemary's Baby)

"Rosemary's Baby" was good for the most part, but I was also disappointed. The plot just didn't appeal to me. I guess this just isn't my type of horror film. I am not so much into films that take 45 minutes to get into the climax and the whole story just wasn't very fun to watch. I was awaiting so much more to happen, and it didn't. I am not saying I did not like this film, I am just not a big fan of this type of work.
